i wanna start up a urban clothing line. i have the logo but i dont know where to begin or how?
i dont have alot of cash so what is the most imprtant thing to do, and is trade marking at the early stages a necesity?
Well to make sure nobody else uses the same logo, you have to patent it! So YES trademarking is CRUCIAL. And remember: every famous person/ brand/ etc. started out small, so work your way up. Look for sales agents and buyers of retailers, major department stores or boutiques and talk to them.
You can start small, and sell the clothes you’ve created in flea markets, community and church fairs during weekends. Once people starts to notice your products and demand begins to grow, you can slowly expand your business until you have enough capital to go full-time into the venture.
